BRITISH COLLECTION LAUNCHES IN JAPAN
At Caramel, we value the community which shares our passion for craft, good design and an unerring eye for cut and detail. When Eva Karayiannis launched Caramel 22 years ago, a large part of the creative agenda was focussing on British clothmaking and celebrating the heritage and manufacturing - not to mention all the wonderful fabrics - that come with this.
The collection was recently launched exclusively in Japan, initially with a special Caramel pop-up held at the Ron Herman Futako Tamagawa store in Tokyo and following this at our own Daikanyama store.
This collection spans childrenswear and womenswear and includes shirts and dresses which cherry pick the best of Liberty floral print, classic plaid wool kilts, (always with a Caramel tweak) that are teamed with cricket sweaters or thick, reassuringly cosy Aran or ‘Gansey’ sweaters. Our wool duffle coats and velvet trim herringbone tweed coats will ward of a winter chill, and are designed to be passed down children and generations.
The collection will launch in the UK in store and online this autumn.
